I have tried to connect a Wavlink router to the hub this afternoon. I have put the Hub in modem mode and the light changed to red (even though they advise its purple) I have used the wavlink wizard to set things up - it will not connect to the internet. Any suggestions please?

Sorry I'm late to the party.
I've just connected the AC1200 to the Hub 3.0 via a LAN. The speed I'm getting via the AC1200 via WiFi and LAN is about 40 mbs compared to 200+ via the Hub. Can you advise why this might be?
I've put the Hub in as WiFi downstairs is poor, and devices lose connection. With the Hub this appears to be better!.
