WIFI speeds

so i have the latest super hub and the top wifi package the vivid 350, but for years have experienced bad speeds ,constant up and down, no matter how many conversations on the phone or engineer visits , even when getting full speed or more (using speed checker) it feels like it struggles and downloads slowly limp when trying to download it even seems to struggle with basic 500mb files, it should be more than capable of streaming 4k content but yet fails, i mainly use it for gaming and streaming films , so my question is would it be worth investing in a modem/router to get a stronger more stable connection or would it make no difference compared to the super hub? thanks.

Re: WIFI speeds

The Hub3 is a "cheap" & underpowered wifi device. Your own better quality wifi router or router+wireless access point would almost certainly improve you wifi environment. However, you should check out the 2 pink posts at the top of this board regarding improving wifi and see if any of that helps first.
