I am having problems with my android phone (Samsung galaxy S7)

Very often, I get the wifi icon with an exclamation mark, and it won't connect to the internet. It seems like it is connected to the router, but can't access the internet from there.

Sometimes it resolves after a few minutes, other times I have to forget my connection and reconnect and it will work again for a while.

Even if I am right next to the router it happens.

No other devices in my house seem to be affected.

I have tried changing the channels on my router in case it was some kind of interference, but it still happens.

Any ideas?

Do you have the Hub3? If so have you tried disabling "channel optimisation:? Then tried renaming the SSID's of the 2.4 & 5 GHz networks to separate them out so you can select the 5GHz one specifically?

Thanks, I tried that and it seems to have worked.

Not sure why the channel optimisation doesn't work anymore. I have had the same router/mobile setup for 18 months or so
