Did this but same problem I scanned my house using Virgin media app and every room shows Great signal - I have no idea why this is happening 

Any help on this would be much appreciated

Yeah I tried everything he advised but same problem exists 

Then you'll need to call in a fault or wait 5-10 days here for a rep to reply and assist

Get a better wireless router with 1Gb ports and use the hub in modem mode.

Maybe with better router or WiFi extender 

Hi, the WiFi analyzer app you recommended is excellent. I live in a middle house of a terraced block, and discovered a new ssid using the same 2.4g channels, and i think if i ask him to move to different channels, we can both be happy with the performance, fingers crossed. Thank you
