Using Virgin connect app with several devices no problem.

Alcatel 1B is another matter. Using Android 10 GO.

Recognised by HUB3 but will not allow me to use hotspots . Asks me to out in info manually andthisis beyond me.

All other devices are automatic.

Anyone got any advice?

Please and thanks.

The 1B is a fairly basic phone - and Android 10 GO is a stripped down OS. May not be surprising some features of it are tripped up by the VM Hub.

So, have you asked in their fora or Android ones - there may be better ideas in there ?

Hi tomamca,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the Virgin Media connect app.

Can you confirm if this happening on different devices? Have you tried removing the app from a device and re-adding this?

^Martin

Firstly, thanks for response.

All other devices have worked okay.

i.e. Mac, Moto G5, Samsung J, Samsung tablet.

Only ALCATEL 1B using just bought  Android 10 Go is problem.

I have installed and uninstalled a few times with no change.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I have had no luck so far.

I will make do.

I might return to the fray at later date.

Virgin Connect does connect automatically when it is a very strong signal.

When available signal is not so strong then I am asked to give detailed details.

No expertise from me just trial and error.
