Virgin Outage support? Like BT 4G Assure?

After a 12 hour outage yesterday at work, we need some sort of wifi backup to our Virgin service. Anyone know if there is anything that we can use? BT have something called 4G Assure which is a dongle that sits in the back of the router that automatically swithches over if the broadband goes down. Virgin do anything similar we can use?

Not directly no, the only thing you could do is to purchase you own router which has multi-WAN support and can auto-failover the WAN connections (Draytek, for example, do a range of routers which can do this), put the VM Hub into modem mode and connect it to the new router. This will disable all of the wifi and routings features of the Hub and you'll configure everything on your new router.

You could always get a PAYG Mifi device, which will give you a back up, but will not be as comprehensive as a multi WAN router.
