Virgin Media Power Outage

I have been experiencing A WiFi outage in the London Pimlico zone for a couple of hours. I was informed earlier today that this problem would be fixed in around 24 hours. On the other hand, I just finished a call with Virgin who said that they expect this problem to be fixed by December 3. In this day and age, having no stable internet connection for this long is simply unacceptable. What do I do in this case? Should I just find a new internet company?

Sincere apologies for your recent loss of service, I completely appreciate how frustrating it is. I've just tested your network and it appears you're online at the moment and I can't find an area fault. Do you have a fault reference I can check?
