Virgin Media Business static ip and port forward netgear nighthawk

I am on Virgin Media business using my modem as modem only mode I have a netgear night hawk

I am wanting to open port 4443 so i put in a port forwading rule to my night hawk and setup the binding in IIS however when i scann the port its sitll saying that the port is closed

This board is for VM residential customers not business ones. You should phone the business helpline. Some users on the board do also have a business connection as well as a residential one and may possibly be able to help. This may take some days for one of them to see your post.

Is the app running on that port?

Get Port Listener and check
http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/utility/portlistener/

Check your windows network is set to Public network and the inbound firewall has the app allowed.
