Virgin Hub 3.0 not working, please help!

Hi all,

I have now been having issues with this router for over a week. Basically, the issue I am having is the router is flashing green on both the internet light and then the base light alternatively. When one has finished flashing the other starts and then this repeats again and again. The router seems to just not be able to connect.

I have read from other posts on here something to do with upstreams and downstreams but I have no idea what this means even though I am quite knowledgable on this stuff normally. I have been on the phone to virgin multiple times and they are sending me a new router out on Monday and also I have now managed to book a technician on the same day. However, this is a bank holiday weekend and I have upcoming assignments for university are there any fixes I can do?!

Only things you can do is check all cables are tight and power cycle the hub. Flashing lights like that often mean a circuit problem, not a hub problem.

From a PC / WiFi client go to a browser, enter 192.168.0.1 at the input, you should get to the hubs home page. At the bottom of the page click the button, this will lead to a page with tabs across the top. Go to downstream tab and post stats, go to upstream tan and post stats and the network log and post full log. Be sure to blank out any MAC addresses in network log.
