Very unstable internet, keep getting booted from PC and PS5

Hey all, for the last month or so we have been having very unstable internet. Daily being booted from online PC and PS5 games aswell as incredible slow netflix/disney/amazon. We've turned the router off and back on quite often to try and help and even done the factory reset but its still quite bad. Any ideas?

My internet was finally running smooth after purchasing an asus router but now i’ve been upgraded to 350 from 200 due to being on o2 and virgin now my internet has become unusable. In the house i have to use my 4g just to browse the net! I’ve done a full factory reset on the superhub 3 and still no good! Are there any problems in my area?!!? LE4 2HA. I do a speed test and it says 350+ but its so unreliable and unusable, forget netflix/disney/now as when they do actually work the quality is so low its un watchable.

Did you get a new Hub recently?

Also, check or “known network faults”

As well as trying the “check service,” Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum), also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to postcode level.

Finally you say the connection is unstable, but re the issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection related?

What are the various Hub lights showing/doing when this happens?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Its still the same superhub 3 i’ve had for years basically since superhub 3 first come out. The internets just as bad wired or wireless. I only run the hub in modem mode and thats when everything became reliable as i was using an asus router but for the past 2-3 days its just diabolical how bad it is, constant drop offs. I’m not sure if its due to the speed upgrade or just co incidence. Ive factory reset the superhub and powered down everything at least 5 times in the past 3 days and still very bad.

Internets still very bad. My wife has to work from home and is constantly losing the work she does as its all network related. She rang up virgin, they sent a signal and went through all reseting, switching off and on etc still really bad and unusable. No use ringing really, not very helpful. Surely they could see from their end theres something not right.

So repost up the latest Hub stats and a link to the live BQM.

And are the issues on ethernet connected devices at the same time as on wifi ones?

I’ll try and get them up when i get home. Internet goes down on ethernet and wifi same time. 1 minute the internet/connections are fine with everything being as it should then the internet goes completely on everything and comes back a few moments later.
