VPN on Vigin Media Hub 3 Router?

Im not tech savvy at all so please forgive me for my simple language.

I have had DDoS attacks recently from a player on XBOX and im wanting to set up a VPN just for my XBOX.

Ive been looking into Nord VPN but I’ve read that Virgin Media Routers do not support VPNs?

What are my options? Ideally i want to keep my xbox connected via cable and just have the VPN for my xbox so other wifi users in the house are not affected.

Do you have a Windows PC?

If so run the VPN software on it and connect the XBOX via it.

AFAIK you can’t run a VPN app on the XBOX itself and can’t run it on the Hub 3 - even if traffic will run through the hub.

Another option would be to get a suitable router, use the hub in modem mode and run the VPN software on that router.  Trouble is that will affect the other users in the house.
