Tuning in

Hi there,

My VPN for work keeps dropping and its only from home, which I moved into 2 weeks ago. All other locations are fine with the VPN.

If anyone can see anything that might be causing an issue I'd really appreciate it

OK damn!

There are lots of similar VPN issues, threads on this forum - some offer fixes that work - such as ...

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Hub-5-Workplace-VPN/td-p/5133773

... however... if that or any of the other suggestions you might find dont work... then AIUI the only guaranteed fix is to put the VM Hub into modem mode and get your own router.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Any idea how to get an engineer out? The issue persists and the experience is similar to that of having dog dirt flung into your eyes at light speed with a ray gun. I’m not enjoying it.

Hey @owensteam, thanks for reaching out to us on the Virgin Media forums.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue for the drops in the connection.
I've had a look and I can see that this will require further investigation.
I will send a private message - watch out for the purple envelope inviting you in.

Kind regards,
Ilyas.
