V217 error

Hi for the past two days when I try connecting to apps or want to watch catch up or on demand it keeps coming up error v217 I have reset and done all tests but no joy does anybody have any suggestions or help please

Not really sure what that error is...  there are one or two posts about it but they dont really help, except suggest you do need to ring CS to see if they can sort it.  Your best bet for that is to call 150 or 0345 454 1111 options 1-1-4-5 "thinking of leaving" - you usually get a UK call centre (still a wait tho') who are more understanding and helpful.  Tell them you are about to leave for Sky/BT unless they can sort out this out and they will "hopefully" sort it for you.
