Users reporting app.consultport.com ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Hi,

We have clients from VirginMedia in UK not able to connect to our site (https://app.consultport.com/) with a ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR message.

According to blocked.org for app.consultport.com (https://www.blocked.org.uk/site/https://app.consultport.com/), that seems to be an "SSL Error" reported by VirginMedia.

We don't have any issue with any other ISP worldwide. Could you elaborate what could be the issue? We no longer support TLS 1.1 (only 1.2 and 1.3). Perhaps it's that the reason?

Please advise how to proceed to solve this issue

Best,

Sebastian

The access to https://app.consultport.com/en is now working for VM customers with Virus Safe enabled.

The CONSULTPORT Log in screen is displayed.

A couple of methods for reporting false blocking issues to VM are mentioned in this past topic from 用心棒, one of the forum VIPs

If we change from VM Residential DNS ( we have "Virus Safe" Enabled.  "Child Safe" Disabled ) and use Google Public DNS, we reach the login page of https://app.consultport.com/en

Virgin Media's Residential DNS filter "Virus Safe" is blocking the access.  A false positive ?

Hi Sebastian-n 👋 Welcome back to the community. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for letting us know about this! Sorry to hear it is affecting some of our users. Were you able to follow the advice of Goslow in the thread posted above?

You can also 👉 Report a website and otherwise try emailing websafefeedback@virginmedia.co.uk

Please let us know how you get on so we can offer further support if needed!

Wishing you all the best. 🌞

Molly

We continuously scan our site using Virustotal. None of the 90 external and independent vendors flagged our url as malicious.

We already sent an email to websafefeedback@virginmedia.co.uk but they didn't reply.

I don't really know what else to do.

Hi Molly,

I already sent an email to websafefeedback@virginmedia.co.uk  but there is no reply. I'm not a customer of VirginMedia myself, but my clients cannot connect to the site.

Please advise what else to do.

Thanks in advance,

Sebastian
