Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

Checking my power levels on Hub 3 whilst in modem mode.

  Upstream bonded channels

Channel Frequency (Hz) Power (dBmV) Symbol Rate (ksps) Modulation Channel ID

1326000194.525512016 qam3
2258000174.55512016 qam4
3393999884.675512016 qam2
4462000094.675512016 qam1

No problems whilst using.

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

The Hub is misreporting the upstream power levels, as with power levels that low (if possible) you will not get a connection.
It looks like the decimal point is in the wrong place.

There are a few post like this cropping up lately. probably a glitch in a firmware update.
Out of interest, what firmware version are you on?

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

I've just rebooted and Hub updated to 610 and I have now got the same misreporting of the upstream power levels.

So it must be the mandatory bug in VM's Chucklebrothers firmware.

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

It looks like 610 has been fully released into the wild.

No idea what "improvements" it offers but i plan to grow old gracefully waiting for VM to release a changelog.

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

Just rebooted my modem and also got the update to 610 (from 608), I can also confirm that the power level display issue is indeed apparent on this firmware, but is indeed just a display error, my monitoring graphs are still reporting it correctly.

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

Certainly looks like a coding error in the format of that field, placing the period in the wrong place.

Re: Upload power levels low on Hub 3?

Pleased I found this thread as mine are also misreporting levels.

Mine say 3.6

Last week it was correct, I got the latest .610 update the other day and checked levels today to see the decimal point in the wrong place.
