I had a replacement hub installed as old one was faulty. Now my virgin media connect app cannot find the new one. Where/how to make it 'forget' the old hub so it can connect to the new one. I would have expected it to prompt me to enter the new hub's admin password but it doesn't. I tried reinstalling the app but that doesn't work either.
Its the same with the online checker via virgin media. It just says cannot connect to Hub.

Sorry to hear the issues you've been having with the connect app on the Virgin Media hub.
Can you confirm for me which platform you are using the app on? Is it iOS or Android? Is the app updated to the latest spec?
Please try to uninstall the app and then re-install it, let us know how that goes.
