Hopefully someone can help...
I am unable to connect to lbks.org.uk, a website for London Beekeepers.
This website continuously times out. I have turned off all wifi devices in my house, disconnected them from the Hub, connected my computer to the hub with an Ethernet cable and still nothing. I am able to create a hotspot on my Phone and connect this way; and I can take my computer to a friends house and connect to their Virgin Media network and I am able to connect to the website. I have also made use of friends laptop, have it/them connect to my Virgin network and they can't access the website either.
Clearly the problem is with my connection.
I have disconnected my hub overnight, but still the same issues in the morning. I have reset the hub and set it back to factory settings. Nothing works.
I contacted VM via a chat with technical support on the 7ht December and they promised to escalate the issue and get back to me. Sadly nothing.
Does anyone have any helpful advice?
Thanks
Chris

Hi @essexhill
I agree with @legacy1
The domain you typed isn't registered https://whois.domaintools.com/lbks.org.uk

Hi again Chris,
So the site is lbka.org.uk and not lbks.org.uk
It initially comes up as error 403 forbidden, then after a few seconds the website loads succesfully for me as per the image below. This is using VM WiFi and also using VM (ee) mobile
Do you have websafe turned on ? If so try turning it off
EDIT I see it uses CloudFlair, so it might also be an issue with them.

The whois tool also shows the website title as 403 forbidden - screenshot at the bottom.

Dave
Really appreciate your efforts and advice, thanks.
Your DNS lookup I think was only for lbka.org rather than the .org.uk? That said, if you look up the full domain there is also a '500 SSL negotiation failed' notice on the Website title, which I guess suggests there may be a certificate issue. I'll get in touch with the website.
I have also ordered a new modem/router as I believe the new models allow modification of the DNS, which might allow me to use Google's instead of Virgin's?
That said, none of this explains why it's all fine on other VM networks (and BT and/or cellular networks) just not the one I connect to all the time?
Again, thanks for you help.
Best
Chris

Good morning essexhill.
Welcome to the forums and thank you for your post.
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with accessing the website.
Did you manage to contact the website domain holders?
Kind regards,
Zak_M
