Unable to access website

Hi

I subscibe to a website called Delay React Trade. It is Sports Trading. Nothing illegal.

I have had no problems connecting for the past 12 months plus but now Virgin will not allow the site.

This affects all my devices when connected through my wifi.

No problems if I connect through someone else's wifi as long as it is not Virgin.

This has affected other people in the Group. Someone actually spent 3 hours on the phone with Virgin until they eventually admitted it was a Virgin fault.

How do I overcome this/what is Virgin doing about it?

Re: Unable to access website

I'd suggest using a VPN (free or paid) until Virgin agree to whitelist the site or fix any problem their end.

Re: Unable to access website

Hello Edinburghboy

Do you get a message saying it is blocked?

Is it being blocked by Websafe perhaps? If so please let us know the details WebSafeFeedback@virginmedia.co.uk

Or perhaps here List of Court Orders

Apart from that please try a traceroute to the url as this will test DNS resolution and routing.

If that is okay perhaps the site has blocked your public IP address, a quick test in modem only mode will normally change the IP to see how that goes.

Thank you

Nicola

Re: Unable to access website

No it was a Virgin problem. The supplier has resolved by using a new address.
