Timed access on Hub4

I would like to put a timer on certain devices on my WiFi network, I can find the "how to" for Hub3's, but I can't find it for hub4's or the VM Connect app. I've had a look myself but only seem to be able to pause connections manually.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks

You can use something called MAC Filtering directly from the HUB settings (192.168.0.1):

Any filtering based in MAC is futile. It's easily bypassed.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

This really is an area where education on acceptable use is far more important than enforcement.
Especially when the previous comment is 100% true.

Hi @joebarker 👋.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Apologies for the delay in responding, the easiest way in which to set up a timer would be through the Websafe function which is accessible via your online account, there you can set up timers and custom block various sites and filters for access prevention. This link will be able to direct you to that function and assist 👉 Websafe.

I asked for technical assistance not parenting advice thanks

I want to set a schedule, not restrict where the kids go online. It doesn't say where I can do that, please advise?

See my post above.

Setting operating times for individual devices by MAC codes is so easily bypassed that most children will find how to do it.

You could use a second SSID with a different password for those devices to use, and disable that SSID at the appropriate times.

Can I assume then that this feature is not available in Hub4, then?
