The Hub stops and starts constantly (ongoing for 2-3 years)

We have an issue with our Hub in regards to its connectivity. It'll run fine throughout the day but then suddenly out of the blue it'll restart itself, and turn the wifi off and restarting itself. This happens multiple times and sometimes even continuously in the span of 5 minutes. Sometimes it'll never even fix itself and we have to turn it off, wait a whole night and then turn it back on again and even then it sometimes doesn't work. The most successful fix, is unscrewing the connection cable (the one with the thin needle), blowing on it and putting it back in but even this fix is no longer working anymore. 

This is very frustrating and has not been fixed for the past years. Our Hub has been replaced twice now and we've even had an engineer come and visit yet our connection issue is still the same. There's no other issues with it except with the connectivity. 

We've followed all the guides and tips on the website regarding the hub yet the issue still remains. Why is this happening?

Have you changed the power supply plug?
