Yes.... but its the number of repeats and their times that gives useful info, particularly if you also post them up along with a BQM - set one up if you haven't already.

Ah, okay, I'll set one up and return with logs and fresh numbers in a couple of days. The router I use doesn't in itself respond to ping but I can get it to pass through to the ps4, that does.

So far since the reset yesterday, still seeing weird drops last night, the network log has only had two entries, nothing from today yet (though we've been out all day so the only thing on the internet til now has been alexa (doing whatever creepy stuff alexa does when you're out!) and like before nearly all the post rs errors are on channel 6. The bqm (if i get the link right) starts with a big blip at half 5 but that's when I reset the hub to clear the counters. the rest of the blips are genuine

Still no signs of the engineer that Adidya from the call centre said would be looking into it. Anyone from virgin confirm the report was actually put in by him?

same two of these in the log today

I've submitted a complaint to virgin, hopefully that will be picked up because I just can not endure 2 more hours of horrible on hold music to get fobbed off again.

Thanks for posting. My apologies for the connection issues. From running a check I can't see any issues in your area however the post RS errors are a little high. I'm going to get in contact with the field manager in your area to see what they say and I'll come back to you when I know more.

Would an area check show anything if there was damage to the cable or issues with the splitter on the side of my house?

If an Area Field Manager were to come to your property they would inspect connections both inside and outside the property.

 

They would be able to identify is there were damage to the cables or the cabinet for you.

 

Hopefully John will be able to come back to you soon with a positive response from the Area Field Manager in due course.

No signs of anyone yet. Averaging about 140'000 post rs errors a day just on channel 6 and 4 entries to the log each day as below.

Not sure if someone is looking into it but some change today in that it's got way worse, internet connection dropping like mad, browsing pages can take tens of seconds to finally load, post rs errors gone mad on all channels, channel 6 had a lot anyway but the rest are almost all from just today.
