Hi, I have seen a few older threads on this but can't find an answer..
I have just had my faulty router replaced with the new(?) SH3 (Black).
Everything seems to be working great except when I have tried printing.
The HP printer is set up on the network and all settings are fine. However when I try and print through Iphone / Ipad etc I get "No AirPrint Printers Found". Trying to print on a Mac connected to the router via ethernet I get "Printer not Found".
If I reboot the printer I can see the printer on IPhone / Ipdad and can print but this drops out after about 5-10 mins.
Never had an issue with the printer on the old Hub.
I have split the 5G and 2G networks and still the same issue.
I changed from sky to virgin media on Tuesday and haven't been able to connect to my printer from my iPad. I use this printer quite a lot and need to be able to connect. The only way I can do this is to keep switching printer off and then it will print for about 30 seconds, then I get a message no air printer found. Please are there any known solutions to this problem.
There is a known issue with Superhub 3 routers which means they will not recognise Airprint. VM have known about this for months (if not years now) and have still done nothing to correct it. I had the same issue and my solution was to ask VM for a Superhub 2ac router instead. It's not quite as fast but it DOES recognise Airprint. Tell them you want to keep your Superhub 3 until they notify you that the problem has been fixed. (FYI the Superhub 2ac works just as well with the Virgin V6 box.....so don't let them fob you off with that excuse. I have that box and it works fine.)
