I thought the router being turned off each night was causing a problem. So the last month its been on all the time, working fine. However I keep having to delete 60+ entries shown in the filter list? dont know where they come from, but I delete them all, and the next day there is more??
Advanced settings > Wireless > Security
Wireless filter list, always lists a steerlist, mac, and then invalid value
I've had to do a bit of digging with this as it's not something I've experienced before. I've found this thread here that you might find interesting. I've been informed that this is a known defect which is currently under investigation by the firmware team, this will be fixed in future firmware updates. Please rest assured this isn't a security issue. Please stick around for updates.

Ha ha, well that didnt last long, 2 weeks ? The nighhalk is great if you only want 5g (it has 2 1300 transmitters) hoever the 2.4G is only 600mbps and the output it very bad, movie drop outs and more. So as much as the SH3 has its problems, cant fault it for providing a good 2.4g connection in this crowded world..
Back to the drawing board, perhaps these powerlines are the answer, TP Link work very well
There was some problems in my area last week so the Hub 3.0 router was dropping often. I think they must've upgraded the firmware to a different version after these drops and I'm getting these steer devices. I can see the MAC address of my tv box, Ipads, etc.. in that list. Wi-Fi 5ghz doesn't connect at all, it says "Wi-Fi network didn't accept connection" and 2.4ghz works, but sometime it drops and gives the same error. I have reset the router to factory default this afternoon and it didn't make any difference.
Is anyone from Virgin working on this? Is it a known bug? It wasn't happening before for sure.
