Static DNS in to my WiFi Adapter

“Whenever I am connecting to my home Virgin Media router, it is assigning a Static DNS in to my WiFi Adapter which is blocking me to connect it to any other WiFi’s when I am travelling outside of Home. As our Company laptops needs Admin rights to change the settings back to “Obtain DNS Automatically” I need to get it fixed ASAP. If my IT Manager removes the static IP and it works for other WiFi and when I get back home and connect Virgin it assigns static IP again. It’s really frustrating!”

VM Hubs assign DNS automatically, you cannot set a Static DNS on the Hub.

Just out of idle curiosity, what address does it assign as the DNS server?

When you connect to other wifi you DHCP to get what ever DNS is set by the DHCP server you will not get VM DNS IP's.

You might have a DNS app thats setting your DNS IP's
