Splitter into surge protector extension lead causing interference?

Hi

Some of my SNR channels have gone bad recently, and I'm wondering if my set up is the reason?

I have 2 wall sockets, one is powering superhub, other is 6 way extension lead.

On the lead, one of the things going into it is my VM splitter/booster for tv and router, with the coax cable that goes into back of superhub part of it. Is this a big nono? Does the splitter with that coax cable need its own wall socket?

A VM technician set it up like this.

The VM technician has fitted a powered amplifier. Unless you are having a problem with your broadband or TV, it's fine.
