Splitter Cables

Since having VM broadband and TV installed in Aug 2019, I have suffered from numerous internet connection problems until this May when, at last, I was able to get a visit from a VM engineer. He noticed the splitter cables had been connected the wrong way round to the Hub3 and the TiVo V6 box.

My question is, what type of specific issues would be expected from such an error?

Hi did you sort out this issue?

It would be good to know if the issue was resolved and if so what the actual problem was?

 

The good thing about this forum is that when virgin don't pick up the phone there are people trying to help.

It would be good if Hayley could complete a write up of the issue and then close this thread too perhaps?

Hi Saunie. Thanks for the update prompt. The issue is indeed ongoing. I have just this moment replied to Ash_C below with an update. Many thanks for taking an interest in my long existing problem. It goes back to Aug 2019!
