Hi, I have had a solid red light on my Hub for the last 2/3 weeks, have tried to reset/turn on off and nothing. Coincided with poor broadband at home?

Yes the hub probably needs replacing, but is nothing to do with your poor broadband. This problem will need investigating when you have a new hub.
