Slow, intermittent internet

Evening,

Any help would be appreciated. my internet has been constantly slow and poor for the past few weeks and checking the BQM (Links at the bottom) its shows as a blank red screen for the majority of days. Info below.

Hey MatthewSmith, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you are having some connection issues.

I have taken a look from our side and I can't see any issues at all everything is looking fine.

The levels are very good and are in green, which is prefect.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

It has been intermittent, but more often than not the WiFi will drop off on all devices and won't connect and every so often anything connected by cable will drop off.

 

All connections are tight and below is the network log from the past week.

The WiFi has been horrendous, I either get 22mbps max or I don't get any signal at all.

It may look alright on VM side but hear where I am, It doesn't work.

Thanks for coming back to the thread. I am sorry you're still having issues. Is this purely on WiFi, or are wired devices affected as well?

If it's purely WiFi, then if you have a smartphone, please download free of charge, the Virgin Media Connect App - https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/connect-app

You can, when downloaded, use the app to do a WiFi scan in the property. This will identify any coverage blackspot issues, optimise them where possible and also prompt you to order a Pod if needed.

Morning John,

This is a WiFi issue but is not a blackspot issue. The router is only a few feet in front of me across the living room, no obstruction in front or around it and a previous engineer that came out was happy with the location, the signal will still drop out on any device that is connected to it with WiFi be it in front or in a different room.
