Sky mini

Hi,
I have just recently moved broadband from sky to Virgin. I have SkyQ and everything has connected fine apart from the mini box in the bedroom. I can’t seem to get it connected, any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

How is it connecting?

Wireless or wired?

Does it need to be on a specific frequency band?

It’s connected through WiFi.

Is there a way of factory resetting the Mini box?

My belief is that if connecting a Sky Q box to a non-Sky router such as VM's hub it's best to use the 2.4Ghz band (which means splitting the hub's bands into 2.4GHz and a 5GHz bands. Connect the Sky Q, factory reset the mini and connect it to the Sky Q box (done at 5GHz).

Hi MATT31

How are you getting on with this

Did you manage to split the bands at all

If so has that fixed things for you

Thanks everybody for the Help,

I have managed to get it working. All I did was reset the min box. I was trying connect the signal from the actual mini box not the main box first🙈 Didn’t have to change any settings or anything.

That's great news MATT31

Thanks for the update

Anything else, you know where to go

Enjoy the rest of the weekend
