Router problem last 2 weeks?

Hi, last 2 weeks phone has been terrible and wi-fi working on and off.

have skyQ tv and connection drops constantly. Ring cam also loses connection. All working completely fine until last 2 weeks or so

anyone any ideas? Phoned helpdesk and they just tell me everything is fine their end despite fact phone line is so bad we can hardly hear each other! Aftet 20mins if shouting over the line and no answers I gave up. have a hub 3

anyone any ideas? Getting very fed up with rebooting everything several times a day!

It might be the latest update to "smart wifi"

Try logging into the hub and disabling it from the wireless signal page

Already disabled so not that, unfortunately! Thanks for the suggestion though 🙂

Hi tracythfc,

 

Sorry for the broadband issues. Is there anything listed here that can explain this? Simply pop in your postcode and then click 'search'. Any known area faults will be shown.

 

If none shown, then please sign into the service checker. To do this, you'll need to sign in using your My Virgin Media online account details, and then when signed in, run the fault check on the affected service.

 

Please let me know how you get on.

Broadband says ok?? Phone line check won’t complete though, and when I called earlier the BB check said I needed to speak to an advisor. 

Ive just rebooted my hub yet again.

I think something in the router settings might be blocking skyQ Internet access .

also ring keeps dropping outt too, and other connections drop briefly and then reconnect 

skyQ had worked fine since we got it, and to be fair broadband is normally good too. So someone’s changed something! 

I think someone was working on the cabling a few houses down recently...🤔
