Router dropping out constantly

Owenc2088
Tuning in

Morning all,

Having issues with our router dropping out constantly. It will drop the WiFi all the time and even the devices wired in drop out as if the router isn't there.

I've tried getting help through the online chat and that is dismal at best. The bot is useless and when I got through to someone they just said it is an intermittent problem that will cure itself. This has been ongoing for over a month. Not so intermittent....

Anyway the router has an orange light on constantly. Drops all connections wired and wireless, only way to reconnect is to reboot it.

I have completed multiple reboots, checked all the wires, factory reset and prayed to the Internet gods.

Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi kath,

Sorry for the massive delay in responding. We're still having these frequent issues with the router. With only a full reset clearing the issue. The engineer never visited in the end (I can't remember if we tried to re-arrange or they didn't show)

The fall out affects all wired and wireless devices still.

Regards

Owen
