Reset Wifi Adapter Constantly

My Wifi is driving me insane, for the past 2 months my home PC wifi has been disconnecting, PC is in the same place it was before this issue started.

I have to Run Windows Network Diagnostics and get the message the default gateway is not available (Fixed). Laptops and Phones connect fine.

It's also not the WiFi card as I brought a wireless USB Netgear and have the same issues.

Sometimes I get 2 hours of internet before this happens, other times could be 2 minutes.

I've tried the following but no luck:

Turning off Power Management under Devices
Downloading new drivers from Intel Website
Reseting Router
Reset the Wi-Fi AutoConfig service
Turning off McAfee (which I always find strange when suggested, how am I supposed to protect pc lol)

My Logs from today.

I do not get much time as we have two babies under two, which is why this has taken me so long to test, usually I'm good at Googling and figuring out this stuff, but this time I'm stumped.

Please help!! I mean it please :)  , #PCSTRESS #FML #GIVEUP #OverToThePros

Re: Reset Wifi Adapter Constantly

Post the upstream and downstream stats from the hub

WiFi is a thickle thing. Your end can be the same, but the actual wireless environment were the signals are traversing can change at any moment for the worse or better. Did you do the basic of setting a different WiFi channel (for 2.4GHz it is 1,6 or 11) in the hub? What are the current wireless settings in the hub?

Go to http://192.168.0.1  (or http://192.168.100.1 ) in your browser [there is no need to login] and then click on the  “router status” icon at  top right - or bottom middle - of first page up -- depending on which hub you have  and then copy/paste 3 sets of data onto here - the downstream, upstream , &  network logs.  Don't worry about the formatting it can be easily read (by others & not by me!), but try and avoid using screen shots & don’t include personal data or mac addresses.

Re: Reset Wifi Adapter Constantly

SNR on the low side, possibly a problem in your area. Phone customer services and report the issue.

Re: Reset Wifi Adapter Constantly

Hi Tudor the rest of my devices work fine just 1 PC, even a laptop in the same room as PC is fine. Do you still think it's the signal?

Re: Reset Wifi Adapter Constantly

If everything else is fine except the PC - then the fault is in the PC end !  Maybe you are just unlucky and the adapter and internal wifi card are both  bjorked. Does it work ok if you connect it to the Hub with Cat6a ethernet cable?  Have you tried moving it to a different location (maybe its directly in line with your neighbour's high powered radio transceiver)?
