Reoccurring Broadband issues

Hello,

some assistance please. I'm getting regular broadband 'drop-outs' and network connectivity issues and I'd like to know what I can do / where I can go next. My router's is in modem mode. I'm connecting from multiple devices (wired and wi-fi) and when browsing, using twitter etc. I'm having very long lags. And when using a PC I get DNS errors, can't find server etc. These subsequently resolve themselves. Also when downloading some files I get disconnected with a network error. I've had 3 separate engineers here: One fixed a 'crooked' cable; one put an attenuator (I think) to help in signal strength and I can't remember what the other one did. Also a network engineer attended to fix an issue in the 'green box' (I can't remember what you call it) outside where I live. I'm still having problems. Looking at the error log there are infrequent T3 errors. I've noticed from other messages that they've provided information from the error log. It follows. Can anybody help?

Stats look good

What router make and model is it ? Did you connect them in the correct "sequence" (just search the forum) as if not you can get similar DNS issues?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Hello,

thanks for the input. The router is a TP-Link ac1750 (there's also a gigabit switch a TLSG810E). What confused me is that the configuration was working quite happily for months on end. And a few months ago the problems started happening. And I could not associate anything I'd changed with the issue. I'll go back and check the forums for the correct sequence connection. Is the implication that it's internal rather than external? I've started a broadband quality monitor today and this is what I've got so far but I don't know how to interpret it:

Thanks for any help.

Oops, here's the picture

Here's a 24-hour sample. The spike at 09:20 corresponds with a download. Can anyone explain this? It's beyond my abilities. Ta.

No worries there - its an excellent looking BQM on a VM connection. No evidence of any network drop outs there.

OK, thanks. I'll have to revisit the whole home setup. Thanks for your help.
