Reeboots and Resets

Hi, I have a Hub 3.0

There has been a good few losses of service on last few weeks, once all night and others for a few hours etc.. I know there was work going on via service status page, however my router has factory reset itself 3 times in last few days. This is no good at all, can admin / staff please check from their end, power and things.

Re: Reeboots and Resets

If there is a known problem being worked on you will need to wait until that's resolved (keep checking - calling in) then switch the Hub off for a few minutes and restart, and then post up stats again if there is no improvement (with better formatting if you can!).

Re: Reeboots and Resets

OK if you got the all clear. Your upstream power looks maxed out to me - someone more qualified will comment. You have a lot of Post RS errors too - these might be historical due to the "problem". So switch the Hub off for a minute or two and restart it - check in there to see that the errors have reset to 0 and then check every couple of hours over the next day or so and see if they start building up. If so, post the stats up up again

Re: Reeboots and Resets

To be fair, the router has had plenty of reboots and restarts over last week.

Would power issues / local area work cause 3 factory resets? I shouldn't think so.

Re: Reeboots and Resets

Does the reset happen when in modem mode? If not maybe get your own router with 1Gb ports.

No, It's in router mode. I've had many of my own Routers over the years and up until this episode of resets I've been very happy with hub 3 and its performance TBH.

Re: Reeboots and Resets

Given how poorly done the hub 3 router mode is its WAN IP is facing the internet and anything to it could cause it to reset as a fail safe.

Can you try modem mode and see if it resets.
