Just a quick question!ive had my hub in the same place for over 2 years now!the power light on it has always been solid white!
however the last few days it has suddenly turned to red!
according to vm website the red light indicates an overheating problem!
has anyone else had this problem?
all my services both WiFi and Ethernet seem to be working fine but I’m a little concerned that if it is overheating it could pose a fire risk!
phoned virgin media but they said it was nothing to be concerned about but I ain’t too sure!
I'm going to escalate this, as even if it is a false positive indication the Hub must be replaced for safety reasons.

Someone should have a chat with CS - I imagine if a customers house burned down and the rep had dismissed concerns like this - VM would likely be liable
