Red light on router

Hi everyone,

I've had a red light on my router for a long time now and have called 3 times with this issue as the website shows that this is a over heating light.

All they tell me to do is a pin reset which never works.

I've seen the below link and they got a new hub.

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Hub-3-0-red-light/td-p/4388223

I work from home and if this goes I will be unable to work, also if this is an overheating light and it catches fire when I'm not in.....

Any advise would be much appreciated

Thanks

If the hub is in router mode then the red light means either the hub is overheating or it thinks it is - either way it needs replacing!

Hub 3 - Modem Mode - TP-Link Archer C7

How do I go about this has Ive tried 3 times with no luck?

VM Staff should pick this up.

Or you could phone 150 - use the 'Leaving option'

Tell them that the hub feels hot and has a red light on - Even if it doesn't feel hot - it needs replacing as the sensor is faulty and you wouldn't accept a faulty brake sensor on your car!

Hi Woko1133

Sorry to read the above and the over heating hub

I am more than happy to take a look at this for you

We will need to book an engineer to come out to swap it over
I will need to send you a private message to pass security to do this
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great
