Red light on hub

My router is showing a constant red light, is quite hot at the top.  It is in a well ventilated area. 

Struggling to get through to someone who can help to trying here, I think I need a replacement. 

Any help would be great.

Physically unplug it for half an hour and try again. If still red call it in as a fault on 0345 454 1111. 

I'm not a Very Insightful Person (just a little bit, sometimes). I don't work for Virgin Media (but then nor do any of the offshore customer service agents).
