I've noticed the base light is a solid red on my Virgin hub 3 , i have read on various virgin forums that this is a safety issue with overheating... I've followed advice about resetting and have even left it switched off but when i switch it back on it is still red...
Could someone please advise as i am getting concerned...

We appreciate you re-setting your hub and performing a reboot already. Can we ask if the hub is hot to touch? Also, is the hub in an open space so it is getting air circulated to it?

yes the hub is in space and not boxed in
When i did the factory reset the hub felt hot to touch..

As you've mentioned it feels hot to touch I will investigate this further.
