RT.com blocked?

I was advised to post here for support. RT.com appears to be blocked, as in the website is 'up', but I cannot access it. I have no child blocks etc. turned on and have tried on multiple browsers and devices.

Please can someone from VM advise if this is the case, and why? The customer advisor I spoke to previously also couldn't access it, and suggested the website was in fact blocked. 

This is message I get when the site fails to load:

This site can’t be reached

www.rt.com unexpectedly closed the connection.

Hi there,

The UK government has recently introduced new regulations which require UK telecoms companies to prevent access to certain Russian-owned websites. This includes sites such as https://RT.com & https://sputniknews.com. We’re complying with these requirements
