RCS partial service and No ranging response received

I keep losing wifi connection on my laptop, various other devices.

I checked the network logs and can see lots of recent error messages such as RCS partial service and No ranging response received.

I have run all the system tests I can online and via calling Virgin, but the error persists.


Any advice?

What happens when you call the team?

Do you use our Virgin Media connect app at all?

Hi Emma

Ive tried the connect app a couple of times. Always shows no service issues in the area. Then I’ve done the test when it send a signal to my equipment. Same issue recurs  

It seems worse since the ‘intelligent wifi’ promotion and change to the router interface but that might be my imagination.  

Ive called the team a couple of times and had helpful replies - restart etc. And this works for a while then system keeps dropping.  

Any ideas?

Hi graemejeffs,

 

Would you be able to post the readings from the Network Status page of the hub settings here for us to see? If you're able to obscure any personal details such as MAC addresses it will ensure our mods don't have to either delete or edit the post for you.
