RCS Partial Service/No Ranging Response received

ClMcGee
Tuning in

Hello there. For the last month we are experiencing broadband outages and drops everyday.
Usually while checking Hub logs quickly I can notice a clear connection between Downstream Channels power drops and RCS errors appearing, however signal then gets back to normal until next outage. We've already had 3 engineer visits (last one yesterday, 4-7pm, said it was fine).
And after the last guy left we've experienced outage again around 10pm.
Outages are not so long, but extremely annoying because they are enough to disconnect everything.

Last outages happened just an hour and 30 minutes ago.

Hi @ClMcGee

As you have mentioned, there does look to be planned works happening soon that will hopefully help to resolve the issues you are experiencing. After the works have been completed, please reboot your equipment and monitor your connections, post a live link to your BQM and we'll monitor it on our side. Let us know if anything changes at all after 9th June.

Here to help 🙂

There is also that 10 dB power difference between the upstream channels. That is sticking out more than anything. Whenever you see something like that, you know there is a problem.

Interestingly enough, after doing nothing it seems fine.

Also downstream finally got in its "normal" range which it was in after 2nd tech guy visit, 3.7-4.9 dBmV.
Will keep an eye on it for now

Well, that was quick xD
