Primary downstream channel - Locked - SC-QAM

Tuning in

Hi,

I'm on a 1GBPS contract and since mid week I've been getting 4mb down and 40 up. Looking at the self service and going through the whole (reset the hub and wait a day) kinda thing It is still not fixed.

I usually set the HUB as Modem and then use my DECO MESH but have also tried with normal mode and it's the same.

Any advice? See attached results

Upstream is looking good!

Engineer needs to adjust downstream and he could check all the noise levels at the same time.

I'll flag if for Virgin to take a look at.

Well-informed

Well your downstream power levels are borderline too high, that not going to help anything.

I think you should have that adjusted by and engineer first.

Can you post the upstream as well?

Thanks for the reply.

I added them all as attachments here, but still under review. Here is the upstream.

Thanks a lot. I'll give them a bell

Hi,

After a night of rest the speed seems to be ok (960mb speed test) but it is still locked and but the numbers seem very similar to before. Could you check and let me know if I should be reporting this?

Thanks a lot !

Power levels will naturally fluctuate during the day. Yours are on the edge (when you took the data) that leaves zero wiggle room to allow them to do it.

One part of the day will be fine, the next not so fine.

Example above.

Your main download channel has dropped in speed from qam4096 to qam2048.

Thats not good.

If you just wait here someone from virgin will be along to arrange an engineer.

You can try the 150 number but It's painful at best.

Up to you really.

Wow. Amazing help. Really appreciate it.

I called today and they tried stuff remotely but did not help.

What do you mean with (If you just wait here someone from virgin will be along to arrange an engineer)?
