Pre rs errors and post rs errors again engineer visit

Getting a lot of pre rs errors and post rs errors. Did have an engineer out last week. And he moved me to different tap bank as my downstream power (dBmV) was getting close to 10 on a few channels. He also installed an isolator to the coax coming into the house.

I've just rebooted my superhub 3 which is in modem mode to see if it helps but as soon as it boots up there is pre rs errors, no post just yet. I get there may some errors on the line as no network is perfect. Hub was online for 4 days no reboots and errors both pre and post were in the thousands. No screen shot of this as i've rebooted the router now.

Stats below which all seem fine to me nothing too high or low

Re: Pre rs errors and post rs errors again engineer visit

Video calls get a lot dropped frames or complete disconnections and online gaming is suffering from disconnections and lag.

Re: Pre rs errors and post rs errors again engineer visit

Hi there mabdul,

Thanks for your post - sorry to understand that you're having some issues so soon after the technician visit.

You advise that your using the HUB3 in modem mode - are you having the same issue when not in Modem mode?

Cheers

Katie - Forum Team

Re: Pre rs errors and post rs errors again engineer visit

I have turned on modem mode now, to rule out my 3rd party router being an issue. Network logs also below. Still getting errors upon boot up. Before restarting channels 7 & 8 had pre rs errors in the 10,000s reset were a few hundred with a few post errors. Have been booted up for 5 mins now. Have been speaking to live chat who end up going on a break and then disconnecting me. Making me go through the explanation again. They're are having me do speed tests when speed isn't an issue its the random amount of errors.

Re: Pre rs errors and post rs errors again engineer visit

Just been advised on the phone that there is no issue with my line. They can see that power levels and SNR are fine. Apparently they can't see errors on the line, but don't have a system for me to email them screenshots. Have been in told yesterday that there was an outage in my area, which is a lie because my neighbour who live two doors down from me was online all day yesterday. The advice i've been given now is to factory reset my router to fix the errors and monitor for 24 hours again.

Upon factory reseting
