connect is stuffed - downstream is way too high +10 is max and upstream is a mess - check coax connections are tight and if they are book a tech or wait here and VM will book one

BQM looks good - Hub stats dont - awful. Power levels are way too high - should see 64qam on the up channels not QPSK - Can you do a pinhole reset as below and see what happens thereafter.

Edit: and do as Tony suggests too 😎

Note that a pinhole reset on a Hub3/4 can be a bit problematic - so do it (again) EXACTLY this way (not as the VM website says!).
Firstly, make sure the Hub's sticker/card with the two passwords on it is still there and legible If not – DON’T DO IT !
With the Hub switched "on", disconnect any ethernet connections (leave the co-ax connected) and then push in the “reset pin” with the end of a paperclip/thin nail/SIM tray “tool” or similar (bigger items like ball point pen ends may not press it in far enough) until you feel it at the “stop point” and hold it there firmly for a "timed" minimum of 60 seconds do NOT manually restart the Hub at any time. Leave it 10' or so to stabilise and then your passwords/passphrase for both the Hub settings and the Wifi networks will revert to the two printed on the Hub sticker on its base/side/card. Make sure you use the wifi one for devices connecting to the wifi and the settings/admin one to access the Hub

See if that sorts it.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

not relevant unless you have just fitted and your old hub had attenuators on it that dont work on the hub5 but that would only be on DOSSIS 3.1 afaik or you have not added the attenuators

My old hub had a 6db installed on it, but when i got the new hub i didn't out it on.

How odd your BQM looks fine...everyone else would not expect that.

likely your upstream is the problem

Put the hub in modem mode and get a better router with 1Gb ports

“My old hub had a 6db installed on it, but when i got the new hub i didn't out it on”

You could put that back but it would not totally fix the problem, max is over 19 and that would bring it down to 13, still way above max of 10. May you old hub managed to exist with a high power level.

I very much doubt it’s a cable problem as these usually decrease the signal level, not increase it to that level. I would put my money on a cabinet problem. By the way, are you very near the street cabinet?

the 1 gig ports again - its like a stuck record - is a 3rd party router going to solve the power levels
