Ports on router

Hi I’m just wondering if there’s a way round my problem I’m trying to set smart lighting up in my house but my router ports are all taken up with other things and the smart lighting needs to be connected to the router is there any way I can get round this many thanks

A gigabit unmanaged Switch would give you more ports

Type "gigabit switch" into the search box on Amazon, Argos or your favourite online retailer.  A 5-port switch can be bought for less than £20; an 8-port switch for not much more.

You connect one of the ports on the switch to the Virgin hub and the remaining ports on the switch are available for you to use with anything else you may have - PCs, games consoles, smart device hubs, etc.
