Poor connection / losing packets

Hello,

Over the last week we have seen a significant drop in the performance of our internet and WiFi connection. I can see an increase in latency spikes on my monitoring service.

This causes my work calls to drop out (working from home) and I am even cabled in to the router to avoid any WiFi issues.

The TV buffers more often, which had not been an issue until this last week.

Gaming is also a problem as is general internet searching over WiFi.

Speed tests across the whole house show it as being ok, but these are intermittent spikes and loss in speeds it seems.

Please send help!

_______________
Can you Check for any “known network faults first - Try in 2 places

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum)

2) Then also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to street cab/ postcode level.
