Hi Guys,
Recently upgraded to M350 and got a Wi-Fi Pod as signal is poor upstairs.
Plugged in and constantly flashes… for 2-3 days until I turned off. Have tried re-setting hub, re-starting etc
Hub is circa 4 years old and has a steady orange light, which I can’t see a fault status for?
Any ideas!?
Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up 👍🏻
Just spoken to them and they said it’s a faulty Pod. I’m slightly dubious as we also have the dodgy orange/yellow light on the Hub which nobody can seem to explain.
But fingers crossed - new Pod comes on Friday.

Thanks, I’ve read a few bits on the orange light. Virgin told me on the phone it indicates the hub isn’t running at optimum, too many devices etc. which I thought didn’t make sense as all that was connected was my phone? So would assume a failing LED is more likely.
Had a ‘long’ phone call with Virgin and they said the pod must be faulty so have sent a new one and unsurprisingly the new pod (2nd) does exactly the same thing - constantly flashes.
So frustrating when this this simple tec doesn’t work

Hi @Davey1985
Have you tried rebooting your hub again before setting up the new pod?
The pods take up to 24 hours to settle down. It's best to initially place them near your when setting them up, then move them to a mid point between the hub and where the signal is weakest, again allowing 24 hours to settle down.
Have you split/renamed the SSID's on your hub, or have different passwords for the SSID's?
With the pod(s) you should be aware of the following requirements for the pods to work with the Hubs.
The Hub must be in 'Router Mode' and not have been changed to 'Modem Mode'
Channel Optimisation must be left on
The SSIDs must be the same and broadcast enabled
The SSID must be password protected
The Passphrases of the SSIDs must match
As long as all of the above points are all met then the Pods will automatically connect to your Hub's WiFi and begin broadcasting. The wireless details from the Pods will be the same as the Hub's details, so no additional steps are required to connect up the devices in the home.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to put that together.
I’ve re-booted (turn off and on again) multiple times, and so have Virgin remotely via the hub.
Re the settings, I’ve never touched them - wouldn’t know how to be honest! It’s been plug and play out the box, since install 4 years ago. The only addition was a different extender (non Virgin) which was disconnected and removed some time ago.
Waiting for a call back from Virgin, ticket raised. Not impressed with the customer care to be honest!

Try connecting the pods by pressing the wps button on the router as the pods leds are flashing, try it a couple of times if it does work at first.
