Phone does not connect to virgin network on return to UK

I recently returned form a trip to South Africa where I had a few issues getting my phone to connect to a network. With the help from Virgin through this network we got it working. But once I'm back in the UK I cannot connect to the Virgin network.

I have tried to connect manually but without success.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're having trouble connecting back to our network now you're back in the UK, and I can appreciate you're keen to get this resolved.

 

Do you have a red or purple SIM?

Can you try the following:

 

Select 'Apps' from your home screen

Select 'Virgin Sim Toolkit Icon'

Select 'Roaming'

Select 'Select Mode'

Select 'Automatic' 

 

Let me know if you're able to connect again once you've done that?
