Philips hue bridge

Is there a fix for the connection issues between the hue bridge version 1 and virgin super hub V3? 

The hue bridge is a very common gadget it should be able to work. 

It worked fine with my previous 2 provider's.

We have not been made aware of any issue with the Hue bridge version 1 and our hubs

I know that the Version 1 is quite old now and Phillips are no longer able to offer any updates for this version 

Are you connected direct by Ethernet?

Thanks for the response. I was connected via ethernet. I gave up. Conceded defeat. Bought a V2 bridge. Works fine.
