why can't i pause the internet on my daughter's kindle via the connect app but i can pause other devices?

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
I'm really sorry to hear of the issues trying to pause your daughters connection via the Connect app, has this just started to happen or has it been an issue since you started to use the Connect App?
Is your daughter using the most up to date version of the operating system?

Doesn't work on any devices now! Tried all things suggested! Probably just a move by Virginmedia to pay more and an upgrade to the Hub 5!

I can assure you that isn't the case. What specifically happens when you try to pause the device via the app?

Nothing app just hangs. Loads of others have the same issue. Noone has yet come up with a solution

Have you tried to un-install and re-install the app since the problem started?

Thank you for reaching back out, we have read the above however cannot see anywhere advising as advised if you have deleted the App and tried to re-install it, please also have a look at our Connect App Support.

One of my messages states i have tried suggested solutions discussed in other threads on here.
For the record the first thing i did was uninstall and reinstall the app.
Again Virgin media seem to be ducking out of a proper solution.
I await a solution that actually works.
I pay alot for the Virgin media broadband and so far not getting great service
